Fluorescent bathroom lights are the ideal lighting source if you for tasks. With the newer bulbs, you can get the same white colored light with a fraction of the energy use. Aside from being energy efficient, fluorescent fixtures also give a fraction of the hear usually associated with halogen or incandesent bathroom lighting. Ideally, you need two fluorescent lamps in a medium sized bathroom and maybe three in a larger bathroom.
